WHAT: Estelle Glass Wine Stemware
WHY: Why is it that wine tastes infinitely better when it’s imbibed from a beautiful vessel? Is there actual chemistry happening here, or is it just the feeling of Cersei Lannister-adjacent sophistication that comes from using the correct wine glass—nay, chalice?
And our chalice of choice is this Stemware from Estelle.
Not only are the glasses just the perfect shape—long and elegant with a delicate stem made for lightly holding—but the colors. God, the colors. They come in an array of gorgeous jewel tones and pastel hues—like “Amber Smoke” and “Cobalt Blue”—and kindly offer a mixed set so we can sample them all.
Hand-blown by glass artisans in Poland, the wine glasses with stems are undoubtedly our favorites—perfect for sipping summer rosé, hosting guests, (remember guests?), displaying in your kitchen and literally never drinking from them, or just downing a bottle of wine by yourself on a Wednesday because this is 2020 and that’s what we do now.
But don’t overlook their champagne coupes and cake stands, which are so breathtakingly beautiful, they double as décor. Match them to your dutch oven or pampas grass or your even your fucking clothes. We’re doing that now.
