Carolyn Firestone is the Managing Editor of The Candidly. After receiving her Master’s in Journalism from the University of Southern California, she went on to help launch the editorial website PsychAlive.org, a project designed to make good mental health information easily accessible and applicable in everyday life.

She was thrilled to join The Candidly, because her favorite thing to do is to write about her favorite things, especially when they have even the slightest chance of making someone else’s something (mood, relationship, travel plans, or toiletry kit) a little better.

She’s not saying she believes in the supernatural but when a Newport Beach psychic approaches you on a pier at 10 years old to tell you you’re gonna be a writer, she highly recommends going ahead and making a life plan to become a writer.
