WHAT: Paper and Pear Store Modern Spice Labels
WHY: We don’t really need this whole explainy part because, well, you can see them. And you can see that there is none more beautiful a spice label.
Whether you are a scientist or a lawyer or a teacher or an astronaut, there is some small part of us all that carries a visceral lust for beautifully labeled, expertly organized pantry goods.
We didn’t ask for this lust. But here it is.
Most of our Pinterest boards are just photo after photo of simple mason jars, all facing the same direction, lit like glowing angels, their glass bellies filled with various flours, coconut sugars, seeds, nuts, all of them holding the promise for us to become better cooks, better parents, better partners, better people.
And these labels complete that picture. The picture of hope. Of opportunity. Every time you open your spice drawer, or gaze upon your pantry shelves, these labels softly whisper:
“If your kitchen can be this organized, you can fucking do anything.”
And the truth is, they’re right.
