How To Get Rid Of Dandruff In 10 Minutes
by Audie Metcalf
I have a sad scalp.
She’s extremely ornery, greasy, yet also flaky. It makes no sense to me.
And whenever I’ve followed the internet’s instructions to “only wash my hair once a week!” my head becomes a sad, stringy wet dog AND my scalp gets even more upset. So. No.
But since I’ve had a lotttt of let’s call it “home time” over this past year and a half, one of my goals for my self care was figuring out, once and for all, how to make my scalp happy and flake-free.
Friends? I’ve done it. And it’s not really that complicated. But it does have to be these exact products, in this exact order. And you will see the magic after ONE USE.
And a few styling product bonuses that I’ve tweaked to be sure they’re extremely effective for my hair and never ever contribute to scalp-anger.
THIS is my favorite detangler of all time. It’s pricey but I only use two or three squirts after each wash. It smells gorgeous and works magic on quarantine-dreads from profound laziness.
I almost never blow-dry my hair anymore because holding hot tools above my head makes me rage, so THIS is the perfect product to sort of scrunch into my hair to create air-dried beachy waves.
A teeny tiny drop of THIS on my ends has kept my extremely long, prone-to-split-ends hair looking so shiny and healthy. Even though I’ve only had one haircut in almost two years!
