WHY: We are lipgloss lovers.
We love this one because the color is so universally flattering, a novice can buy it sight unseen and it will look great.
We love this one because it’s the most lovely oil/gloss hybrid that almost feels like a soothing balm.
But something has to take the top spot for, essentially, the best overall lip gloss we’ve ever tried. How LOVELY that it’s also $14–all the better to buy 20 tubes in every color.
Blindingly shiny, but feels soft, almost cushiony. Nourishing and hydrating, but feels slippery, not sticky. Never, ever sticky.
Gloss, remember, can be a bit of a lip cheat. Unlike lipstick, where it looks obvious and ugly when you’ve gone outside your natural lip line, gloss creates a lovely, shiny halo around your lips, so even if they’ve shrunken down over the years, the sheen brings them back to their original glory.
Oh, and every color of this gloss is prettier than the last. Though we’re especially partial to XOXO—post-popsicle perfection.
