You’re Probably Not Shopping This Clothing Brand But You Definitely Should Be
It’s not just for the kids.
by The Candidly Team
You probably thought this brand was for hippies and professional witches and 24-year-olds headed to Coachella.
But…
It’s actually doing wildly interesting things for us 40-year-olds who want chic but deeply comfortable, affordable but not-boring basics.
So if you’ve sighed for the “good old days” every, single time you walk into a Gap for the last 15 years, you may have just discovered your new favorite store:
Free People.
Actually, when I say “store,” it’s not true. Because the actual brick and mortar stores of Free People are almost not even similar to what they offer on their (brilliantly easy and beautiful) app. It’s almost like a different brand.
All of their loungier shirts, sweatshirts, and pants run VERY large, so even though the brand only runs up to an XL, in many cases an XL can feel like a 3XL.
Here’s a handful of our absolute favorites that we’re wearing into the ground.
At The Candidly, we try a lot of stuff so you don’t have to. We only recommend things we truly love, and that we think you’ll love, too. All products are chosen independently by our creative team, and all details reflect the price and availability of products at the time of publication. If you buy something we link to, The Candidly may earn a commission.
We have to eat.
