If you’re a skincare lover, or skincare novice, or someone who just loves a funny IG video, then you MUST be following Dr. Shereene Idriss.

And if you’re not, you should start now.

Because not only is she a Board Certified Derm full of knowledge about every skincare problem, ingredient, and product under the sun, she’s also legitimately funny, entertaining, and SO relatable.

She recently shared her skincare routine, and the 5 must-have products she uses every night for glowing skin.

Also. Have you seen her skincare closet? The woman has tried every product. She knows what she’s talking about.

Her routine is a mix of targeted solutions and simple, gentle, effective products that everyone can use. Some things are $9, others are $180, but they’re all so good.

Cleanser: Vanicream Gentle Facial Cleanser

After removing her sunscreen and makeup with Bioderma Sensibo micellar water, she uses Vanicream, which she describes as “the cheapest, most gentle cleanser you can find.”

We love a cheap, effective find.

PRICE: $9

Exfoliation: L’Oréal Revitalift Derm Intensives 10% Pure Glycolic Acid

After cleansing, she exfoliates with this glycolic acid, which she refers to as a “beginners exfoliation,” taking it from her forehead to her chest.

But, she wants us to know that, generally, most of us are “way over-exfoliating.” So, she says, “if you’re going to exfoliate, less is more. Two to maybe four-ish times a week.”

PRICE: $33

Toner: Cortas Rose Flower Water

Though she claims she’s “not a huge toner fan,” she sometimes uses this beautiful rosewater concoction to help soothe any red, irritated skin.

She dabs a little bit of this on her rosacea-prone skin, and moves on to her serums.

PRICE: $9

Serum: SkinCeuticals Discoloration Defense

This is just one of the MANY serums Dr. Idriss likes to layer on each night (see the rest below!)

This one has Tranexamic Acid, which she says is a “great product to help with melasma.”

PRICE: $102

Moisturizer: Clé De Peau Beauté Intensive Fortifying Emulsion

Yes, she knows it’s expensive.

But, likes that is lightweight AND hydrating, and loves the fragrance (“yes there’s fragrance, don’t come after me, I’m not scared of fragrance,” she says).

PRICE: $48-$180
