This article is part of our series called "People We Like," in which we highlight interesting women, across all walks of life.

Leaders, great cooks, doctors, parents, writers; people who inspire us.

Today, we’re highlighting Veronica Chou, founder of Everybody & Everyone, an eco-conscious clothing line made for, well, every body and everyone.

The Candidly Questionnaire

1. What’s your most compelling quality?

My passion for sustainability has driven my continuous learning, and my work.

2. What’s your worst quality, according to your friends?

My moments of extreme frustration, followed by sustainability rants, particularly when there’s no concrete, eco solution for things yet (like plastic).

3. What’s an overrated value you don’t buy into?

Being correct.

4. How do you feel about cilantro?

Preferably no, but it’s such an important part of Asian food, so I eat it.

5. Are essential oils anything?

Yes! We’re exploring them as an anti-odor innovation for clothing. Everybody & Everyone currently has antimicrobial fabric with recycled silver.

6. What's the most effective beauty trick you know?

Using coconut oil as a make-up remover.

7. How do you get your self-esteem?

Researching and arming myself with knowledge.

8. What meal can you make the hell out of?

I don’t really cook, but I’m starting to grow vegetables at home.

9. What’s your favorite item of clothing you own?

Everybody & Everyone’s Deep Breath Tunic [pictured above], which is a silk shirt made from regenerative organic agricultural methods, that does real good (and not just less bad). It can be worn in multiple ways, and always looks polished and stylish.

10. How do you handle conflict?

I don’t like to deal with it, but I’ll start with, “we need to chat…”

Kamala Harris, and also the Biden Climate Plan.

@futureearth and @earthrise.studio

The world is better because you are here.

14. What’s your favorite movie from the last ten years?

Biggest Little Farm.

15. What forms of therapy have changed your relationship to yourself?

It was after a Vipassana Meditation retreat, followed by a trek in Nepal in 2014, where I had an epiphany moment, that whatever I do in the future has to be focused on sustainability.

16. What’s the most delicious bite of food you’ve ever had?

Fresh strawberries from an organic farm in Europe.

17. Is social media ruining our brains?

Yes, and we don’t know what to believe anymore.

18. Describe your actual bedtime routine.

Foam roller and back stretches, kiss my kids, check my phone one last time (horrible I know), pass out. Takes me 2 seconds to pass out— I’m lucky.

Not for me.
