This article is part of our series called "People We Like," in which we highlight women across all walks of life.

Parents, chefs, doctors, writers, entrepreneurs—ya know. Interesting women.

Today, we’re featuring Kelly Love, co-founder of Branch Basics, a brand whose clean, good-for-you cleaning products are pretty enough to proudly display on the kitchen counter, instead of shoving into the depths of some sad utility closet.

The Candidly Questionnaire

1. What are your most compelling qualities?

Genuine compassion for others.

2. What’s your worst quality, according to your friends?

Horrific time management.

3. What’s an overrated value you don’t buy into?

Healthy living costs more.

4. How do you feel about cilantro?

Love it. Makes everything taste fresh and it’s so detoxifying.

5. Are essential oils anything?

For some people, totally. I’m all about fragrance-free personally, so I don’t use them a lot.

6. What's the most effective beauty trick you use?

Gua sha gives me the most noticeable instant results...I’m just bad about actually doing it.

7. How do you get your self-esteem?

Still working on it! From reading truth about my value and worth from God instead of from other people.

8. What meal can you make the hell out of?

Spaghetti with ground beef & veggies.

9. What’s your favorite item of clothing you own?

An old pair of super soft Paige jeans.

10. How do you handle conflict in your closest relationships?

Talk it out and listen. Get everything out in the open.

11. What idea has really challenged you in the last year?

The physical impact of our thought life.

12. Who is the most interesting person in the zeitgeist right now?

Wim Hof.

13. What Insta account speaks to you deeply?

@angigreene.

14. What’s your favorite movie from the last ten years?

I’m not a big movie/TV watcher but love a good documentary. I tell everyone to watch Stink!

15. What forms of therapy have changed your relationship to yourself?

Digital detox: unplugging from social media and my phone as much as I can.

16. What’s the most delicious bite of food you’ve ever had?

Anything Marilee Nelson makes.

17. Is social media ruining our brains?

Yep.

18. Describe your actual bedtime routine.

When I don’t fall asleep mid-song putting my four year old to bed (happens a lot!), I put on my Blublox glasses, wash my face (currently using One Love Organics cleansing oil), brush my teeth (Wellnesse toothpaste), fill up a bottle of water for my bedside table, turn our air purifier on high (Austin Air), get in bed, turn off the Wifi, catch up on texts I didn’t answer during the day, turn my phone on airplane mode, talk to my husband and fall asleep before I get around to reading a book like I hope to.

Up until last week my nights also included nursing my 13 month old back to sleep but she’s now sleeping like a champ!

19. What’s your relationship with bangs?

Want them but have accepted I don’t have the hair for them. My 4 year old recently cut her own hair so now she has bangs and is rocking them.
