Whether you’ve spent the last year motivating yourself to complete a single streaming, at-home workout class, or decided you’re never going back to a sweaty, loud gym filled with peppy instructors and other people, we see you.

Finding ways to get ourselves out of our chair every day (or, at least, do some sort of beneficial movement in our chair) is hard enough. So hard, we’ve even come up with actual hacks just to get our tired bodies to move. Yet, no matter where you are on your workout “journey,” having the right products can make all the difference.

Using equipment that isn’t terrible, and wearing workout clothes that make you feel good, can actually help motivate you to keep going.

Is that scientifically proven? Who knows. But regardless, these are the 8 products that almost make us want to workout.

1. Old Navy High-Waisted 7/8-Length Side-Pocket Leggings

We’ve found the perfect workout legging. And it was just sitting there waiting for us, in the glaring fluorescence of Old Navy. It’s compressing but not suffocating, smoothing but not constricting, and has...breathes deeply...pockets.

Price: $39

2. Nice C Adjustable Dumbbells

Since every workout fanatic spent the pandemic building out a mini home gym so our muscles wouldn’t fully atrophy, dumbbells have been almost impossible to come by.

But finally, we found a set of dumbbells that are non-heinous and don’t cost a fortune. And they’re customizable, and actually kind of…cute? Plus, they’re also available— on Amazon, no less.

Price: $30

3. TOPLUS Yoga Mat

Turns out, the right mat can make a difference in the quality of your workout. Who knew? (Apparently every fitness enthusiast and yoga-lover ever).

And this one is affordable, cushiony, and protects our wrists when we’re downward-dogging on hardwood floors. It doesn’t slip on said hardwood floors. And it actually grips, meaning there’s no slipping and sliding once we start to sweat.

Plus, it comes in a bunch of not-ugly, low-key colors— no ghastly patterns of many a crunchy, granola yoga brand in sight.

Price: $18 - $27

4. Aerie No BS Tank Top

This isn’t just any tank top.

It is ribbed, so the stretch is deeply flattering. It is tagless, so you’re not consumed with itchiness. It is cut perfectly in the arm-hole so as not to slice your side-fat. It isn’t a dreaded racer back which makes everyone look like they play football.

In short: it is the perfect comfortable, flattering tank that easily transitions from the couch, to the outdoors, to an at-home yoga class, back to the couch again.

Price: $12

5. Yuni Shower Sheets Large Body Wipes

When you’re hot and sweaty from a strenuous yoga class, and you’re just a human pig who can’t muster the energy to shower more than once every 9 days, these wipes will be your savior.

They’re individually wrapped, fully biodegradable, non-toxic, vegan, and are a certified “clean” brand. We’re not trying to say that they’ll fully replace your post-workout shower…but we’re not not saying that.

Price: $17

6. Aerie Seamless Padded Bralette

Sure, this is more of a “house bra,” but it works as the perfect stand-in sports bra for some haphazard house yoga or HIIT routines.

It comes in a rainbow of colors and the price is glorious.

Price: $18

7. Kevin Murphy Fresh Hair Dry Cleaning Spray

If your hair is greasy and sweaty even after a short, brisk walk, but you’re not going to bother with that whole hair washing thing, this might (will) be your new favorite thing.

A little goes a long way, and it works really well post-workout as a little root refresher before swooping your hair into a bun.

Price: $35

8. Bombas Women’s Ankle Sock

Comfortable, snug, and supportive, these socks cushion your ankle, so you can wear them with your worn-in sneakers for anything from a HIIT workout to a quick walk, and not be left with a heel full of bleeding blisters.

Plus, for every pair purchased, they donate a pair to a homeless shelter here in the U.S.

Price: $13
