We know we say this a lot, but we are not really “trend people.” But the reason isn’t because we’re trying to sound cool or above it all. It’s really just that we want our clothes to be classic and chic enough to make us look very good for the very long haul.
Of course that also means we need to spend time finding pieces that are incredible quality. Every single one should have a certain sensibility that makes us sort of know in our soul that we’ll look good in them forever.

At first glance, these pants don’t look all that special, but on our bodies, the fit is incredibly special, particularly on curves. They glide over hips and thighs with no waist gap. Here you can see them on a real human front and back.
They’re the ultra-flattering, casual pant we always wish we had hanging in our closet. And now we do. And we couldn’t be happier about it.

We rattle on a lot about the fit of these pants, but they are genuinely better than any other cropped, wide-leg pant we’ve tried (and we have tried many). They have stretch and hold at the same time, smoothing out all our “bumps,” and while they come in every solid color we could want as well as denim, the gingham is a new release that we’re really excited about. We fully expect them to sell out, so be swift. With the above sweater especially, we’ve found our most comfortably chic fall uniform.

6. This Loafers That Make All Our Boring Outfits Into “Looks”

If you’ve been sleeping on a lug-sole shoe (a loafer in particular) we implore you to just try one on. It balances out your whole look, especially when you’re wearing any baggier pieces up top like an oversized blazer or loose button-down. But owning a pair in white instead of black means we get to look interesting and elevated even in our most basic jeans and tee. It’s still classic but with a twist, and it’s been a revelation in our (sometimes snoozy) wardrobe.
