We have a lot of feelings about our arms.

On the one hand, we try very hard to make peace with our arms, thickness and all, and use various mantras to simply say I’M WEARING THE SLEEVELESS DRESS TODAY AND I WON’T CATCH GLIMPSES OF MY EXPOSED ARMS IN MIRRORS AND FEEL BAD ABOUT THEM. And we do. We wear the sleeveless dress! We wear the tank!

On the other hand, don’t we all just want strong, toned arms? Arms with definition? Arms that say, if you try something, I’ll crush you?

Sure we do. Strength is power. And power is good.

So who is this article for? Well. It’s for everyone who has been meaning to work out more, and just hasn’t started. For anyone who knows they feel better when they move more, but when they start to think about all of the arranging and scheduling and committing to some big new “lifestyle” they get overwhelmed and put it off another day.

It’s also for anyone who watched Sydney Bristow fight many, many men and got inspired by her incredible, strong arms and thought—why can’t I have arms like that?

Of course, Jennifer Garner got paid millions of dollars to have arms like that. But still.

What if we can have arms like that?

It starts with….just starting. That is, by far, the hardest step to take.

So we found something. Something that feels like you’re sort of doing nothing, so it barely feels like a first step. But once you try it, you’ll feel so good so quickly that you’ll start to want to try your legs next. Your back. Your core.

Friends? It’s a TikTok video. And it takes around 6-8 minutes a day to do.

Once you try it, you’ll be someone who works out. You’ll be that person. And you didn’t have to move mountains to do it.

Will you see Sydney Bristow definition in 2 weeks? No. But will you see and feel a change? Absolutely yes.

This arm workout is from fitness trainer Brianna Joye. And it requires no equipment, no push-ups, pull-ups, pressing ourselves against a wall, or planking ourselves into a puddle. You can do it in your jammies and bare feet. You can do it in your work clothes in the kitchen. You can do it while your camera is off on zoom calls.

You can do it.

We did it right before we wrote this post and can still feel the sweat on our brow.

Here it is. Join us, won’t you?
