Maybe you have 23 random fragrances rattling around your bathroom right now but none of them are…quite right.

Maybe you’ve always been chasing that one, signature scent that make you feel like you but have never found it.

Maybe you just love finding supremely unique scents that no one else has.

Whoever you are, there is something special just waiting for you on this list.

1. Moroccanoil Hair & Body Fragrance Mist

Why we love it: If you, like us, have smeared the Moroccanoil hair conditioner all over your body because the scent is so intoxicating, now they’ve released an actual fragrance so we don’t have to feel like crazy people anymore. It smells like a warm, spicy vacation.

Price: $32

2. Glossier You

Why we love it: Creamy. Sparkling. Warm. Spicy. It smells different on everyone but it’s always gorgeous.

Price: $60

3. Le Labo Santal 33

Why we love it: If you know, you know. If you don’t know, there’s a reason this scent might be the most copied in the world. It’s kind of smoky, sort of musky, very clean, and once you spray it, you’ll lift your wrist to your nose to inhale it a minimum of 15 times per hour.

Price: $86 - $285

4. Goop Edition 01 - Church

Why we love it: The half-bonkers half-beautiful description of this scent on Goop’s site is better than anything we could come up with, so here it is, in full:

“This is a scent of cypress smoke, snow, and a sexy sense of quiet. Resins of red cedar and labdanum spike a mix of cypress root, frankincense, clove-leaf oil, and helichrysum flower for a perfume that evokes a crackling fire, a cypress grove by the sea, and the centuries-old floorboards of an ancient European chapel.”

Price: $125

5. Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540 Eau de Parfum

Why we love it: Possibly the most memorable on the list, but hardest to describe in words. There’s notes of jasmine, cedar, saffron. And it’s sort of spicy but clean but slightly powdery and almost metallic. See? Impossible. All we know is that when we wear it we allllmost regret it because we’re stopped by everyone who asks what gorgeous fragrance we’re wearing. There are worse things.

Price: $325

6. Jo Malone Red Roses

Why we love it: If you are not a rose person, feel free to keep scrolling. But if if you are a rose person, this is by far the most lovely rose fragrance we’ve ever come across.

Price: $74-$144

7. Maison Louis Marie No. 04 Bois de Balincourt

Why we love it: Verrrrry similar to #3 on this list. But lighter. Also weirdly lasts even longer.

Price: $85

8. Bobbi Brown Beach

Why we love it: This smells like the salty, sunscreeny, oceany days of a long, lazy vacation on Martha’s Vineyard. Spray it on, inhale deeply, and you can go to that place. Anytime.

Price: $80

9. Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess

Why we love it: This is what a deep, golden, sun-kissed tan would smell like if a tan could be a fragrance.

Price: $80

10. Kiehl’s Musk Eau de Toilette Spray

Why we love it: The literal perfect musk.

Price: $44

11. Ouai Melrose Place

Why we love it: This smells like sweet, crisp champagne, with just a drop of bergamot. If the main adjective you look for in scents is “clean,” she’s your girl.

Price: $60

12. Philosophy Pure Grace

Why we love it: Like fresh, crisp, clean, white laundry, just taken down from the line.

Price: $52-$74

13. The Nue Co forest Lungs

Why we love it: This obviously wins for best fragrance name of all time. And it’s alllllmost reminiscent of Opium perfume, if you remember that classic. But it’s pineier (not a word) and smokier. They call it an “anti-stress” fragrance. And after a big, long inhale of it, we agree.

Price: $30
